Holiday Vaccinations

Dr Gilpin no longer offers the service for holiday vaccinations. Please call into reception in the surgery for further information on this service.

Pertussis Vaccination for Pregnant Women

Vaccinating a pregnant woman with a pertussis containing vaccine between 28 and 32 weeks of pregnancy has been shown to be over 90% effective at preventing pertussis in the first three months of the infant's life.  Pertussis in the first three months of life is a severe and life threatening condition.  If you fall within this category please get in touch with your GP in relation to obtaining the Pertussis Vaccine.  This vaccine has been shown to be safe for both baby and mother.

Flu Vaccinations

Flu vaccinations are now available for patients 65 and over, as well as patients within the risk group criteria. Please contact the surgery to make an appointment.
